Vastu Tips for Schools

  • All institutions should have an East or North-east entry.
  • You should leave more space to the East and North-east, while South, West, and South-west areas must be used for construction.
  • It is important to have entrance from East and blackboard from West in the classrooms.
  • The platform for the teacher’s desk should be at least five feet above the ground.
  • It is important to ensure that beams are not placed under students in classrooms.
  • North-west must have a staff room.
  • Toilets should be constructed in the North-west direction.
  • South-east corner should be used for canteen or pantry.
  • The office of the principal or owner must be built in South-west direction so that it can be viewed from North.
  • Meeting rooms should be located in North, with an east-facing door.
  • In the Eastern part, open play should be built.
  • The Eastern or Northern side must have the reception and cashier rooms.
  • The library can also be used in Western part of the institute.
